    Exclamation Mike Ray's Legendary Afterplane

How many of you here are lucky enough to own one of Mike Ray's afterplanes? Mike referred to these as 'foils' and were custom-made to order. The quality is absolutely stunning, and based on reports from people at the time they were made, these plates were outstanding for drag racing as well as helping to get nearly any boat up on plane much faster.

Mike produced these plates around 2004, and he made this one for me, which was never installed. It's just too pretty to use. It's fully clearcoated with the decals under the clearcoat. One of the nicest examples of an afterplane-type device ever made.
