2005 optimax air injectors, blue and black interchangeable?

I have 2 bad blue air injectors. Can I replace them with the black or grey air injectors? A mercury mechanic told me I could. I just wanted to double check.
    Thanks

Optimax air injectors black and blue are the same but far cheaper than grey. grey is for pro xs and sells for $199 up to $450 new. Your best bet is black or blue about $60 used on ebay
