Throttle linkage on 200 efi stock 2,4

ILL try to explain best i can engine at idle plastic cam is not touching roller that opens air mass butterfly about 3/8 away, so when i push throttle to accelerate only timing moves for first inch then cam contacts efi roller. saw on utube as soon as throttle moved cam on end of rod moved roller almost immediately open big butterfly motor runs great wot but kinda ratty mid idle etc that ss rod has a slight bend but looks intentional/ its a 1988 220 xri is that linkage slack correct? cant find a good side photo to compare any comments welcome thanks ART

Cam roller is adjustable it can be moved closer or further away via the Phillips heads crew on the linkage apparatus

Sounds like you need a service manual, would not be playing with it till you do.
