Clogged Fuel Line??? Difficult to pull fuel through fuel line.

The ball seems to work. It does pull fuel and pump it to the fuel pump. But not very much. It's a new ball. But when I press it in it likes to stay in.

Tried to Linda Lovelace the line myself and found it to have a significant amount of resistance.

If there was an air leak then it would pull air and inflate the priming ball. I removed the fuel tank cap to see if it was a vent issue but still having difficulty getting it to allow fuel to come out.

Got any suggestions on what I can do or check?

Pinched, twisted or folded fuel line- I had one get pinched under the floor-
    Anti-siphon valve clogged
    Has it been sitting up?
Also had a gas line de-laminate inside-
Can you get to tank outlet fitting?

Working in a very tight area to try and get to the anti siphon part. Can't seem to get a 1 1/4 wrench to grab at thsi angle. Guessing I need to remove this assembly and check it.

If you have the grey colored fuel line get it all out of the boat. It is not ethanol safe and has caused a lot of problems. The inside of the hose breaks down and cloggs everything up.

If your engine has a VST tank on it (Merc) Promax+ check it for debris in it and/or just go ahead and drain it and clean it out once you drain your fuel line and replace it.

I am going back with a new squeeze bulb and Trident Barrier Lined A1-15 Fuel Hose USCG approved - 3/8 Inch fuel line and making up my own new setup to length. Hopefully when I have it out, I can shoehorn and fish my SC1000 connectors through the tube.

I hear the best line to use is the blue stuff Hoser sells.

My Bet is with Chris. Ethanol has deteriorated the fuel hose.

I like that blue hose you run. That is the awesome stuff. When I go through the Shadow next, I will be using that. I used the Trident A1 USCG approved stuff in the Intimidator next go around with it, I get the blue as well.

That is what the Trident is, USCG approved. No auto part house High Pressure FI hose I have seen is USCG approved.
