Mercury 300xs Oil pump
Mercury 300xs has anybody ever removed the cover on the oil pump ? Its leaking around the bottom bolt of the cover and not sure whats behind the cover a gasket or O ring ?

We have never opened one up but we have seen a fair amount leaking at the weep hole. Not sure why ? Did not want to mess with an oil pump protecting an expensive investment . Replace would be my advice . Hf....
