Huh? You can't be serious.......Geez I'm 100% behind what Matt is doing here, but some people who should know better put stuff like this up.....So according to this logic every boat manufacturer came up with there design from scratch too. Improving on an existing design is not from scratch my friend.....I do applaud these enhancements and look forward to what becomes available.

Powerabout, Those are all good points and seeing how Mathew is a seasoned boat racer/engine builder I`m sure all of these issues (and more) were addressed in the design stage on his engine. I have no dog in this hunt but I`m excited about somebody offering something new to the outboard racing world.

I think Matthew and all involved should be proud as hell of their new baby. That is a hell of a project to undertake and follow through on. The sour grapes are nothing but laughable.

I had heard of rumors of that from another racer a while back, I missed the rules meeting this year because of work obligations so I don’t know if it was brought up there or not.
But I had heard that rumor that it was coming from another dsra racer.
Maybe someone can verify?
at this point the way work is going I’m not even sure I’ll make the first race this season, much less been keeping up with what’s going on.
