Did the boat originally have a center stringer? Is that the only stringer under the floor?

I'm curious to know how you did the flake/gel. Did you use one of those flakebuster guns? Where would someone have to go to acquire that much flake? also, what kind of equipment is required to spray gel? ive read you have to use a cup-gun, did you just thin the gel and use a larger diameter nozzle so you could use the gravity feed gun? thanks.

    That flake is awesome.

I bought a smaller Cup gun and a standard siphon style both with larger tips for my up coming gel job. I have seen Dump Guns as well as HVLP guns used for Gel. I am hoping the HVLP guns wont waste as much Gel and Flake due to the lower Operating pressure than the 70 PSI of a Dump Gun.

For Metal Flake I search Ebay for 2 suppliers and mixed a couple colors to come close to the Orange on my CVX-20 I am doing. At this time I have a little over 3 pounds of flake 015-.025

I can only hope my gel comes out half as nice as that Checkmate.

    Karsten
