Magnum Maurader 16

Help identify this boat. I have a friend that has a Maltese Magnum Maurader 16 that only has 1 large deck hump on the deck were all the Maltese Magnum Maurader boats that I have seen had 2 smaller deck humps. I was told a story about Magnum building only 4 boats with the single deck hump at the end of the 16 Maurader production run. I am trying to verify this story or gather more information about the boat. Does anyone have any knowledge of the Maltese Magnum Maurader and the origin of this interesting boat? Thanks
