Some comments about 6 carb set ups..........

Did Mercury actually experiment with these or did they move on to fuel injection directly?
The O"Dea 6 carb set up looks intricate (hogged out of aluminum billet or sand cast?)
The Land & Sea 6 carb set up looks more primitive (but functional) machined from a big lump of sand cast aluminum.

...no. efi had more potential at the time. 6 carb was mostly privateer creation & experimentation...
