    Those old pix of the Raveau’s sure bring back memories
    finding them in the reeds off shore rd in lindenhurst in the 70’s
    most people were glad to get that “crap” out of the yard!

    Herb Reeves at Key West. I took a Greyhound Bus down to that race just to see him run this rig. Twin 44in 500s with D quickie lowers. Don't know how fast it ran but it was impressive. Herb later said once was enough for that setup for him.

    Henry Rivers. I bought this boat from him in 1965. In testing I found the bottom was failing so I took it to Nick Chapman to be fixed. Never raced it. wound up swaping it to Nick for the last flat bottom he built. That is however the motor and rigging I started racing E class with.
