I always admire the iconic picture of Butch driving the Raveau with the 800 tower of power. These were some of racing's finest days.

this was what was called COWBELL engine. it was a variation of the TWISTER and TWISTER 1. instead of exhaust going back into midsection and out thru gearcase, it dumped outside above garcase. imformation gained was most likely used in development of tuners used on later v6 engines.
