    1981 27' Excalibur w/twin 225 PM engines

This is a totally original boat other than the interior and engines.
The red and white gel coat is even original.
I know the gentleman that bought it new and then took on a partner a few years later which eventually became the second full owner. I knew him well also, he passed a few years back and I purchased it from his widow. At the time it still had the original 225 carb Mercury's on it, but one of them didn't last long so on went the 225 Promax engines.
The boat has been garage kept since new and is in very good condition. It does have stress cracks in several places on the deck as it is a light boat for it's size, but none in the transom/splash well area.
The boat has had very little salt water use, and virtually none in the last four years. (The PM engines are fresh water engines)
Both engines run perfect and have had no problems since installed.

    Counter rotating Sportmaster Lower units
26p modified Chopper props (72 mph any time w/two people, 75 on good days) It will turn 28's if top end is what you want
Port engine is stock other than Vertex pistons (Less than 150 hrs.)
Starboard engine is totally stock hrs. unknown
    Brucato ACU's on both engines
Oil injection is still on engines so there is no mixing or extra smoke at idle
    6" jack plates w/Bob's 2" spacers
The cabin has a V-berth forward then a partial divider/bulkhead, then a lounge area w/two lounges and a porta potty (Can sleep four)
Bimini top and also window curtains that can be added to enclose three sides for cool weather
Snap in, zippered curtain between cockpit and cabin
Not sure on the fuel tank capacity, but it has a 12 gal reserve tank added in the rear compartment
    Docking lights
Original am/fm radio that still works
    Hynautic Hyd. steering
Stand up bolsters up front, bench w/storage and sun deck in the rear

The aluminium trailer was purchased by the second owner in 1994, it has later model disc brakes and is in excellent condition. It is very heavy duty, I installed different springs to keep it from bouncing the tires off the road due to the boat being lighter than what the trailer was designed for. It works perfect for it now.
The original trailer was in great condition back in 1994, I actually purchased it to use under a 24' Release I had at the time.

    The selling price is $17,900.00

Pictures are in the link below

    http://www.screamandfly.com/showthre...highlight=omni

There are three pictures here. I can e-mail more to those that are interested.

The boat looks the same as then except I have installed a new white boot stripe where the one in the picture is peeling.

The only things that it needs is the bilge area and the windshield frame painted and the side windows retinted.

I installed the 225 Promax's the middle of last summer and just guessed at the engine height and haven't done anything since other than cruise around. It will run 75 now and cruise @ 50. Pretty sure it needs more set back, only has 51/2" just like it came from the factory. It's pretty much a Cadilac in two footers, haven't had it in anyting rougher yet.
I knew the gentleman that owned the boat since the mid 80's and had worked on and been in the boat a few times so it's kind of special to me.

    Gorgeous!
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

I sent you a PM with info.
I'm guessing for some reason you are not seeing the info in his signature or the info I posted above your post.
Lee owns Sanderson's Marine so if you contact the shop you will get him.
