Fishing Prop
What's a good fishing prop to run on a 100mph bass boat? Something that runs reasonable and has heavy enough blades for fishing.

I have a 30 pitch BC chopper now. The blades on both of them are just a little too thin to handle the rigors of fishing. If you ever bump something even at idle your messed up.

The only thing about that is that I want to run it wide open without worrying about the rpm's. I have a 26 Yamaha that runs good but the motor will spin it too many rpms.
I like to keep the rpms abut 7000.

I have a 26p trophy for sale (not a plus) with the heavy blades. Ran 70 or so on my 20' flats boat with a 225 opti at 5600r's. Fresh out of the shop and cup added. Won't run 100 imo, but is tough enough for a fish prop. Planes good too, even with a load.

I also run a Trophy on my Allison for fishing. Normally run an offshore cut 30ET but, like yours, it is a bit too thin to be beating submerged items with. Trophy works OK but is much slower and does not handle nearly as well. Good friend with a 22' Bullet with my old 3.2 xs runs a Bravo and he uses it for fishing and flying (he is running upper 90s). I would look into visiting a Bullet site and see what they are all using.
