To drill or not to drill That is the question ! LOL. Mine is powered by a 245 hp Merc, high perf motor. Mine is also designed with no center pod and is Kevlar. The jack plate is 18 inches off the back and looks rather high because the no pod design but works very well and handles rough water like a 22 ft boat. Take care.

97.4 on gps is its best with 30 gal gas and 1 person. Which I dont think is to bad for this motor which has never been touched from stock build. I believe in if its not broke dont fix it kind of thing! With no center pod the motor is high but I would have to measure to see how high for you , I am not sure at this time ( getting old man cant remember).I do know my hull is around 450 pounds which should be close to yours and with 4 people its a 90 plus boat all day and a ton of fun to drive, with HYD steering you can let go of the steering at 80 and its straight as an arrow and smmoth to (love it). Take care dude hope it dials in well this year.

Thanks Speed, we would be glad to ad another to the "family". Once you own a Eliminator it kind of like having a corvette or harley, your in the club and accepted by others that also own similar boats. I have one of the only ones in my area but always love the crowd it draws and the questions from others are fun too. If I wasnt married I could wear myself out on the chicks that come over and comment. Good luck & be safe this summer.

Yah .. where i am there arent a lot of igh perf boats...there are some here or there ... stoney lake which is where i am in The Kawarthas Ontario Canada there are a few nice boats .. but waht ive seen over the past few years are mostly fishing or ski boats ... i on a voodoo which most people ahve enver seen before and theres only one other one on my lake which has a sweet paint job ... when I go to locks they come over and wonder what it is ... how fast it goes ... my usual repsonse is not fast enough ... well bigger motor this year try and get close to 70 mph ... Peace
