I have one of Wylie Nagler's original flats boats that will definitely fly! Its running 55mph gps so far on a High-Five 24" and a 200hp 2.4L and I have yet to try a prop with more legs. Not sure if you are looking for a Flats Style CC or not, but this one is 22' and will flat out fly! The Porta-Lift will raise the propshaft clear out of the water!

I had a 23 Concept with a 200 carb Merc. After a bunch of setup changes got 55mph out of her once on a cold day. VERY skinny boat and you wouldnt want to much faster in one. Just gets squirrely when loose. Its also nowhere near 23' long. More like a skinny 20 and not fast for its size.
I have a 23 Fountain now (for sale) that has run 52mph with a 225 Opti and its twice the boat. Actually 25'6" LOA but more like an actual 23.
I picking up a 21 Paramount tonight.

Thanks. The ONLY reason Im selling it is I just dont use it. Two of my fishing buddies bought BIG center consoles in the last year (34 Yellowfin and 39 SeaVee) and we just dot take the Fountain. The only thing that wasnt perfect on the boat was the upholstery. Some of the upholstery stitching was pulling and it had some damage from fishing so I ordered all new directly from Fountain. Im just having it installed now then will take some pics and list the boat.
Its not particularly fast but eats up snotty water very well.13' Biel tunnel AKA "Flight Risk"

I also removed that bow rail and has the holes filled and color matched the gel. It looks a lot sportier without it and the cockpt is so deep its not needed. It was always in the way.

Yes, I'd like to limit this to v-hull's. I'm looking for a new boat. When i say "go fast" I basically mean non fishy. I'm a performance guy at heart- looking for something around 24' that seats 6-8 for sport/family/recreation that has to be performance inspired. I will be boating in the Detroit River/Lake Erie/Lake St Clair. I spoke to John at Superboat. He's sending me some info on their 24'. My concern there is limited seating.

24 Spectre
Plenty of seating, dry storage, great family boat! Mine has run 62 with 275 Verado and I know of one that runs 74 with no T-Top and 300X. Very dry ride and self bailing hull. Gets around 4mpg @ 38-40 mph.
