3 Mercury 2.5 EFI 280 powerheads for sale

Last 2 Reduced to $6500 each on 12-05-15

I was planning on putting a Talon 22 together with twin 280’s on it, but bought a Talon with 280’s on it for now till I have time to build myself one. So I do not need these 3 laying around the shop.
I bought 2 Mercury 2000 2.5 280's ROS from a member on here. Per what I was told they were just rebuilt at Next Generation Racing with top pin pistons and the pistons only had 10 hours on them then installed with new rings, gaskets, reeds, bearings, etc. $8500 each or both for $16,000.

THIS ONE IS SOLD THANKS!! The other 280 is mint with only 31.5 hours on it. Also bought from a member on here. I really do not want to sell this motor, but if I can make a buck I will let it go for $11,000. I am a wheeler dealer and yes I try to make a few bucks off this stuff. I have enough stuff to put together complete motors.

I came very close to getting that boat. Its one of the few original twins I had my eye on.

It is a bad ass boat. I have seen the pics. I wish I had the coin right now and wife approval to spend the coin to get in line for a Talon 22 I/O hull and a single 300X. Would get me in the 90's and still be fun for the famdamily. So far she is not budging.....
