Convert 1999 Carb 2.5 200 to EFI?
I am juggling the idea of converting my 2.5 200 to EFI. I cannot afford a Brucato or MadEFI etc. I would be really thrilled with a factory EFI since I don't twist me engine over 6800-7000 like you guys do. I think the factory efi would be fine supplying fuel? Any chance someone might have a factory efi they would part with? I have 4-6 sets of carbs and quite a few parts I could trade with also...just kinda tossing it around.

I too am interested in this and would like to convert the 1988 2.4L 200 from carbs to a Horn EFI like what came on my Bridgeport. Is this just a front half swap or is there more to it?

2.4 carb to laser no big deal but 2.4 to horn is a bit different. I would love to help but I sold the only 2.4 laser set-up I had. Good luck.

I have a '99 2.5 200 carb motor that was converted to an early laser (external fuel pump) XRI by Rock above a long time ago. I'm running an A1 box with unknown curve (suspect it's a promax) and it's bullet proof, but lays down right at 7200rpm (goes fat). Other than the limiter, no mess, no fuss, and reliable as heck. Probably don't need to spin a 40a plastic cage bearing harder than that anyway. Good luck with your search!
