21 Challenger Jet Boat .... Restless Jet???
Hello to everyone on here. I'm a new member and love this site. I am looking and searching for my Dad's old late seventies Linder/ 21 Challenger jet boat. It had a Berkley jet pump with a droop snoot at the time and a big block Ford.He passed away about 33 years ago and the boat got sold quite a few times. The boat was all white with a maroon interior and a raised custom padded hatch. I had maroon painted lettering down the side and was named "Restless Jet". Also had a Load Rite custom painted maroon 1988 trailer under it. Missing my Dad more and more as I get older I'd love to find it and hopefully buy it back. Sentimental middle age I guess. If anyone has any info about its whereabouts I would absolutely love to hear from you. Thank you.

My Dad bought it new from George Linder out of NY. We rigged some of it and put the motor in it. It used to run an honest 80mph on a Medallion speedo. Had a nascar Ford motor from Holman and Moody NC.

I hope you find it, if anyone might have a chance of knowing where it might have ended up over the years that is Rich .
Hoping you find it mostly original but the odds of that jet set up still being in there are probably slim
good luck hope you track it downRaybo Marine http://www.raybomarine.com/

Thanks guys. It doesn't matter what setup is still in the boat. I just want to see the old girl and hopefully bring her back home.

These boats were not made in large volumes .
from what I understand approx 200 in total run
including the nj run and shadows .
given the fact of hard use, and abuse , there are very ,very few left
i wish u best of luck keep pluggin !!!

That boat is very distinctive if it is still around someone will know. Good luck with your search.

Thanks everyone. Rich was kind enough to put me in touch with George Linder. What an honor but, no one seems to know or at least so far. I do know the boat was in south jersey, then upper chesapeake md, then south eastern pa, then poof....gone. Go figure. Hoping for a miracle i guess.

If you can get the last state registration number you may be able to do a search. I tracked an OLD G3 to its original owner like that one time. Cost like $25 to the state department of game and fisheries. Good luck!!
