I bought a used engine with a short skeg Sportmaster (the type used for twins). Supposedly some of the offshore racers around here use them for single engine applications. I am planning to get a long skeg housing, but I am still curious:

Has anyone here found a modification or a propelle that allows a short skeg Sportmaster to work with a single engine set-up without blowing out?
