    300x clamp bracket free play?

Where the pivot pins go through the transom bracket and into the trim cylinder I have maybe a 1/16 of an inch free play when I lift the mid section up replaced all the bushing still there? Anyone else have this problem?

    Thanks

They all do, this is what causes exhaust housings to break. All of the load gets put on the top bolts, they break, and then the play causes havoc. Charlie (Chaz) here on the board, has the cure and will preload the housing so that there is even support being applied by the top and bottom mounts along with shimming it correctly. This eliminates all of the slop and makes for much more consistent water pressure.

Yes , Joe is 100% correct . The "Slop Stop" does away with all of those issues !

    Thank you Joe ...
