The boat ran great!! Super lite, wicked throttle response. Almost rattles your teeth out with no core.... You feel everything. The motor is a 1990 2.4 (rebuilt) pistons rings, aftermarket rod bolts, land and sea duel plug heads velocity stacks... Simple things... But it does also have the nitrox set up, I just am to nervous to use it because I can't afford a new powerhead.

So far just making sure there was no hidden surprises. No real test and tune yet, just started with a comfterable jack height (.5 above the pad) and threw on my 28p Mazco RE.... I was seeing 85-86mph consistantly but the lake I was using started getting crowded. Ill tell you though, after this rebuild it makes me wonder how I ever thought my boat preformed good before... I am very happy with the results and all you guys input.

I had it out a few times and you can really tell that the boat is a lot more solid, doesn't have that hollow dull sound running across the chop. It definitely needed it although it wasn't as bad as some of them out there.

Thanks a lot man...the boat is running great. I think I can still get a little more out of it with a prop change. Those old 2.4's can really move when set up well.
