2010 300 Verados
OB NOOB here....so go easy on me.
What kind of maintenance is required for these motors? Gear oil, plugs, what else?
Generally speaking, is 400 hours a lot of hours for these motors?2017 30 Concept, 2006 30 Superboat (Sold), 1998 24 Superboat (Sold)

The 2010 300s are gen 2 which is a good engine. 400 hours is nothing for them, should last easily to about 1200 + hours. Change oil at every 100 hours and plugs about 300 hours.
If you got them for a good price you will be happy with them.

I think a belt replacement is recommended at 300 hrs as well. Pretty reliable pieces.

Thanks Guys! How do Verados compare to Optimax? Which would you rather have? The application is a 30+ foot center console.

You will be happier with the verados on a big center console
