300 pro max . Mods, reeds HELP??????

    Ok here goes.
i have a 2000 300 promax that has the following mods.
-Typical tuner can cut that has been going on for about 10 years or so.
    - 1mm / .040" off the heads.
    - Lightened Flywheel.
    - Divider out of the inlet manifold betweeen 1/2 , 3/4 ,5/6.
    - Carson reeds.
    Question is;
    1/ What reeds work best?
2/ What ecu curves / mods should i do.
Not quite ready for a M.A.D or brutaco front just yet but thats next on the list, and not really wanting to alter porting as mid range is important for ski racing here in Australia.
Any other info would be appreciated.
    Cheers Chris.

What hull are you running there bud?
    What class in ski racing?
I have run 300promax computers mapped by both cdi and simon motor sports and found that the simon units are richer.
The 300 promax is a stong lazy motor.
I have run 61cc heads on them same size as a 300x.
    41psi fuel pressure.
Lift the rev limiter on it.
What gear ratio are you running 1.62 or 1.75?

R.Grover. 19 medium weight Connelly get a skier at 82 83 mph with a 26 or 28 trophy at somewhere 6200. Boat alone is up nearer to 90 but I used to run a ripper 260 that was faster boat alone and about the same with a skier on. Disappointing really that's why i had the mods done im hoping for some gain. im also curious about the prop and set up. thinking of going to a 26 ET 4 blade which should lift the big Connelly nicely. Connellys benefit from bow lift props and the other frustration is that the Trophy does not like to be surfaced too much and the 1.62 sporty likes to run surfaced. Get the picture? Any direction or help would be appreciated.
The boat was a rocket with the hot 260 with a 4 blade 29 x 14 hoss HPD. (96 mph at 7400)and handled like a race car but thats a small shaft and wont fit the Fat shaft sporty. I only ran that prop once before i went to the 300 Promax and now its a paperweight that cost $1200.00 and currently o on ebay. Cheers

Try 61cc heads to. and if you take motor apart deck the block.
