    Hydroplanes

As pictured, we have 2 knee hydro's. Both with Johnson outboards, with dry stack exhaust. Both are sitting on a double stack trailer. Both engines turn freely, but we know nothing about the mechanical condition. BOTH BOATS FLOAT! One has an 18hp and the other has a 10hp. There is a youtube video of the red boat running at the link below, the video wasn't taken by me, but it does show the green boat in the background floating while the red one is driven. If you have any questions, please feel free to call 404-895-6795. Asking $1,950 OBO

To be completely honest with all of you, I do not know much (if anything) about these. I know growing up, we called them knee hydros, but I have looked up the mini max boats, and they do look a lot like them. So, I am not really sure, but they are some pretty cool boats!

They're cool little boats for sure.
my son and I are currently building a mini max.
love to get my hands on those motors though, if nothing else they'd make great conversation pieces.

From what I remember Minimost and Minimax were wider with larger cockpits But I have NEVER seen pipes like those on an outboard!!!! They must have borrowed them from their Harleys.... LOL ! You are rite Gary they are 50s OMCs with hoods from the Jetsons!!!! Gary

Got a choice a 5 1/2 (beast too, as pushed a 12 alum rowboat damn nice), 8, and 15 J Rudes. I'll probably just sell it some kid here, as getting to old for this "little fun chit" (Maybe!)
