    Yeah....I'd give it a solid C+. They look cool but very dated imo. Then again there aren't many modern looking boats since no one is designing any new small sport boats now. I'd agree with Patches.....the XR2001 is somewhat of a timeless design. I'd also say the DR20 Triad is a timeless design but it's a raceboat. What's the most current design boat now??? Hydrostream Venom 2004? Triad DRX 2005/6 (pure race boat but probably the most recent no)?

    I worked at a Merc dealer in 1977 that picked up the HydroStream line. When the truck with several streams on it hit the lot, they were just incredible looking boats. No doubt about it, the boats were way ahead of their time. Design was very fwd thinking. Ole Howard had it going on. New designs are hard to dream up!
