I have a 23 formula hull in need of complete restoration.It was/is fitted with twin Volvo 110 outdrive setups.Pretty much everything but the hull is shot...will need stringers,floor,transom,etc.,but would make a nice project for someone with more time than sense.Not me.Call or pm if interested,free for the taking,Chris

That seems like a pretty big pain in the a$$ for a free boat lol. And crossing the boarder etc...probably best if I find something up here. But I do love those classic lines!!

Probably no HIN # but with 110's I'd assume that it was 1960's vintage? That's way before I was born but I believe that the 233 was Don Aronow's first major hull. Classic lines still.

That makes sense. The Ad you posted has what I believe is the "Thunderbird" logo which was 1965/1966 just after Don sold Formula.

I think the original 233 race boat was called "cigarette"...which obviously was sorta big for old Don lol. It would be a very cool project lol.
