One thing for sure, it will not be a dog outta the hole. No matter how big the props are.

Thanks Chris!
I have gotten some messages asking about the brass fitting on the end of my poppet dump hose. Some may know but for those that do not.
Since I'm running a 1pc plate with a steel sleeve motor I'm using a 5/16 hose, 5/16 hose barb with 1/8NPT thread fitting with a cap (if necessary to close the dump totally) in order to control my water temp and pressure.
If it turns out I do not need a dump I will just remove the hose completely and plug the poppet. Just want to simplify things first while tweaking in case I need a minimal dump I can easily reduce the dump by using the 5/16 fitting ID or with a 1/8" hole in the cap.
Final engine setting: Prop shafts are 20" on center with 19 3/4" at LU cone bullets. Going with 1/4" toe in!

In the water for a few days and running quite well. Certainly very well worth the effort and work!

It actually floats quite well and better then I expected.
I guess between the O/S 300PM, Titus case, 14" Bob's jack plate, Optima battery and a couple misc items I removed or moved the weight was not drastically different.
It may sit 1"+ lower. It also has a great running attitude!
