Great rigging job!! Reminds me of when I put mine together back in the early 90's. You might want to think about changing those mids after a while. Mine developed cracks at the bottom in a short time running rough water. I switched over to offshores, and had no further issues. Also reversed those Bob's Jackplates for less setback to compensate for the added weight of those offshore mids. Another thing, I noticed a bit of flex where the clamp brackets are bolted to the jackplates, so I made up a pair of 1/8'' aluminum plates to bridge the space between the L&R sides of each jack. This setup has been bullit-proof since the early 90's. You're gonna love that boat!!

    Thanks for the great info!!
I did consider going with O/S mids but decided to save a little weight and chose the straight legs. I did go with 1pc plates and new solid lower mount but will keep a very close eye on things.
The other thing I considered was 15" mids, that may still happen after I see how things work out with he 20's.
If you look closely I fabricated some new adjusting blocks and joined the 2 jack plates at the center to make them 1 unit.
What LU's and props are running?

YES, my setup between the jacks is almost the same as yours. I'm running 14 1/2 x 30 cleavers on sportys. If I really want to tear my head off, I put on a set of 28 cleavers. It will spin the 30's to 7400. I didn't see your fuel sys. but you should consider running a surge tank for a continuous fuel supply.

    Good and helpful info!
I had also spoken with DonMac when I decide to tackle this project he was extremely helpful on some questions and concerns I had to minimize the trial&error stuff.
I have and plan on running the same, 14.5X30 and 28's myself so it seems like I'm on the same track.
Will also be getting 30 Et's because I really liked how the performed on my Howard.
As for the fuel system: Nothing is setup yet so you did not miss anything.
Since I'm going to be running 225PM's my plan is/was to run from main tank to primer bulb to motor pulse pump. Having the VST tank on the motor (should) keep the motor wet,,,but that may change if I feel it is not keeping up.
The setup will be similar to what was done on my Howard.

A couple of weeks away if I stop redoing and fabricating things.
I just got back home and the guys are working on my PH'ds so things are tanking a bit longer then expected....what a surprise....
