AWESOME! Love these year graphics, I've been keeping my eyes open for a set of 140 decals for awhile now. For some reason they seem to be a lot less popular than the years before and after.

Yea, some interesting specs on some of the motors. Those 15s always did seem like they ran better overall when you twisted em up. I like their supposed "reasoning" behind using the crossflows in certain HP ranges and the loopers in others. One is high performance and smooth, while the other one is powerful and smooth. LOL.

Port injection starting. Cool to see the " unicorn " in factory highlights. Worked on and owned many johnrudes, but never one with that set-up! '81 only??????? Had an '82 70 HP. W/ choke butterflies, '83 gt150 with primer solenoid set-up. Agree on color scheme on cowl.... Sweet!

I used to study those Spec pages as a kid! I had the brochures in my school desk and would hide them in my text books while the teachers were Teaching!!!

Interesting that there is no racing pic in this one, or any mention of racing at all. Evinrude almost always had a page or paragraph in the brochures about racing.

What was the true hp ratings on the 235s in the late 70s? Would a 200 Merc keep up back in the day?
Thx-
