    95 Merc 200 EFI - Exact size of plug for Remote Oil Tank Pressure Check Valve?

    I was told to remove this Valve (under the starter) and plug it when doing an oil system delete, but do not know the thread size. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Going from memory. Think it's 1/4 NPT. If not it's 1/8 NPT. The plugs ar cheap buy one of each size and you'll have it covered.

    Got it done. I removed the nipple valve and put a steel plug wrapped in teflon tape. Very careful not to over-tighten. Thanks for the help guys.
