If you search my name, I explained it with pictures years ago. It should have been made a sticky. I think pyro even mentioned that at the time

Umderneath the starter there is a fitting with a nipple on it that you would have removed a hose from. Did you also remove the fitting and replace it with a pipe plug? If not, please do. Do not leave it open or put a vacuum cap over. Plug it with a pipe plug. If you do not, you will lean the bottom cylinder out and will cause severe damage

I don't recall removing anything from below the starter. I will be on the road for a bit, but will check and let you know as soon as I can. What exactly is it?
I will take more pics of the engine so you can verify my sanity
Thanks again for the help.
Ah, the remote oil tank pressure hose! I will check.Last edited by mram10us; 03-03-2015 at 10:08 PM.

I shouldn't have ever posted all those photos with TinyPic and ImageShack. Those bastards always delete all the good stuff a couple of years after I post it.

MT, down by Boise.
I searched like crazy and couldn't find any good pics. Once mine is complete, I can post pics of my setup with arrows to help the next guy.1995 Ranger 392 - Mercury Black Max 200 xRI EFI
