21 Action Marine Center Console Resurrection

Have my brother in laws Action being redone, new transom, stringers and floor. We are having a debate over the bulkhead re-enforcement. I attached a picture in case my terminology is wrong. Any way, some people say they are not needed, others say to keep em. They were put there for a reason. So what is the verdict? We are planning on cutting the rear ones off flush with the gunnel. Keeping the front ones where the fuel lines run. Eliminating the piece that runs down. Tried to pm Mr. Action but his box was full. Did Action put them there for a reason? Would love to know since I will be doing mine next.
    Thanks in advance.

yes, they are there for a reason. Not having a inner liner or dual consoles that get glassed to the hull, these bulkheads were put in to minimize hull flex, stability, and deck support.

This one is actually my brother in laws boat. I am keeping my Paramount until I get my Action on the water and spend some time in it.
