Thanks, Dave I got really bent out of shape on a couple of the last ones. Some day he's gonna piss of someone with nothing to lose and they're gonna take a little drive to see him in person. I can't wait, every dog always has his day, sooner or later.

He has a new thing now, hates Woodpeckers. Nothing funnier than a Rottie trying to climb a tree to get a Woodpecker.

I just got back into o.b. boats after years of I.o.
I wanted two cowls, bobs doesn't make 3.0' s and somebody said eagle one does. They have a fairly professional looking website and have been in business for a while so I took a chance. ..... and lost......fukc it......oh well.

I did get some p.m.'s advising to reconsider from another thread I started about something else and mentioned eagle one. I appreciate the advice but by then it was too late!

As far as what happened to them, and ins fraud and all that. I can't prove one way or another what actually did happen. Just what I was told happened.... So I can only go ahead thru the proper channels to try to recover some cash. Hopefully I get something back $.

I'm going to try to place a damaged cargo claim with the shipper. If that's a dead end I'm going to double down and toss my lawyer a few bills to see what he can do.

I'll update with progress or lack thereof.
In no way was i blaming you for that damage..... i would suspect it happening at the other end..... he probably doesn't have the money to pay you back, so the insurance company is the easy way out for him.

It is Sad what happened to 617. And I have to agree with Flabum about the size of the hole in the Cowl vs the Box damage RED FLAGS, RED FLAGS, RED FLAGS, ?????????? It is the receivers responsibility as is the courier to inspect for suspected damage before the package is accepted. I subscribed to this thread in the beginning just to see how it would go and I'm not shocked. I can attest to what Randy (Rock) mentioned below here. It was a frivolous law suit but non the less it had to be combated. AND IT DID IN FACT COST several Thousand Dollars to counter act. In the end Justice prevailed but not without a cost. I alone could have custom built me another 300 Black Out with all the Bells and Whistles Plus a 1000 Rnds of Ammo. Not to mention the time involved and aggravation that drug out over several months. And Greg as well as Scream and Fly almost got drug into it so Greg was forced to take action to prevent that.

So There are legal ramifications that Most do not see or understand when it comes to Topics in Threads, Members , Vendors. There are tools available that allow seeking members to search certain subjects, Dealings with Members, Vendors etc. USE IT is my Advice!!!!!!! Or just a simple Thread (Example) titled ANYONE EVER HAD DEALINGS WITH Hstream1 (East Coast Powdercoating). In most cases any member or vendor in question someone knows or has dealt with them on here and the responses will most likely be straight forward and overwhelming.

{QUOTE=rock;2731473] Very few members are probably aware of a lawsuit that was filed against a couple members and the site. Totally bogus but regardless of it's merit you MUST defend yourself and as you all know that means dig deep into your pockets.
