Torquemaster is unpainted, HD propshaft and internals, skeg has torque tab molded in, lower water pickups so they can run higher and still have water press.

When you're asking about a Quicksilver lower unit are you referring to a standard 250XB lower unit?
If so I'm pretty sure the standard lower unit and torquemaster lower unit are the same housing. The torquemaster has heavier duty internals.

For a Merc 3.0 litre V-6 O/B...Are you asking what is the difference between the "SportMaster" lower unit(not a SpeedMaster)...and the "FleetMaster" lower? If you are, the answer would be(for the most part) nothing...other than the case itself. Two different hydrodynamically shaped housings, depending on what kind of boat/use you have for it.
