found a real old post from 2004 from Bill Blough, the last owner of Dutchman boats. He said Dutchman went out of business in 1972...

If you read back through this thread the splashed molds are still hanging around. There are at least two of the copys that were running local in the last few years, on southern Ohio lakes.

Yes, it is. A pickle Dutchman. Looking for any info on it...say, prior to about 1978. I know its history after that.

lol..,yeah, well...All the powers to be, for years here, insist that a pickle Dutchman never existed. I know otherwise. A good friend picked up this Dutchman in southeast Michigan, or northern Ohio, back in about 1978, what I am pretty sure was, the green boat in question in the photo. Used the hell out of it, changing hands & eventually met its demise. So...Information on this boat would have to come from some older gent, thats still alive(lol)...that had knowledge of this boat prior to 1978. Lots of luck, right? (P.S...For its time, this boat ran incredibly well, much, much better than any full tunnel variation of the day.)
