Fall GSB Run

Fall is creeping up on us and as we do every year we will be having a Great South Bay boating get together. I am thinking Sunday September 21st the first day of fall. Hopefully if we make enough noise and sacrifice enough fuel we can keep fall off our backs a few more weeks.

We will be meeting at tanner park and doing our annual run to freeport unless anyone has any better ideas. Open to suggestions

We have had anywhere from 50-70 boats in attendance in previous years, lets see if we can keep it up.

I agree, but I am wondering if there is interest in doing the Run out of Jamesport again in the Peconic and around Shelter Island ? Sept. the waters should be calm out there.

Or maybe have 2 weekend runs ?

Just adding an option ....

I say go for two weekend runs. Tanner allows all the local guys with hydrostreams to attend.

It was supposed to be calm in the peconic last year as well, ask GM250 about how calm it was hahah

all ball busting aside we have not had any meet ups all summer and i am definitely down for a few. Still pissed I missed the romp

meet at tanner at around 10. Hang around the bay off tanner and make some passes and then be eating lunch by 12-1230.

I would like to make this a full day of hanging out and boating. It is not a race! Everyone always races there and back and then the day is over so quickly. A big group of boats cruising around for a few hours would be cool

Well yes that's part of it but i don't want to add 2 hours to a 3 hour drive. That makes it a 10 hour round trip. Not much time left for boating and soup eating.

Im in only for tanner, i get home from work around 5am and I go back in around 5pm

Sorry it was not the best water day but going earlier this year would help that chance greatly !

And....if you all would have waited 4 me no one would have been as lost .
