46s to me seem to have a better wot, yet still good idle , the 22s would idle better (cleaner) but I could tell a noticable difference, I also had set 46 and 22 now I got 2 sets 46s. I'd like to try the 20s on my mota tho and see if I can gain little more. Just my experiences. 22s gud carbs to. No complaints

I don't have my pile of carbs with me right now but there are other differences other than just venturi size. The most common castings all have the same venturi size, some (WH-12's come to mind) have small venturis. The small ones are really small, like dime sized. These carbs run pretty good on a carb 2.5.
The size of these orifices are different even on the same casting body per application.
These also...
There are several different throttle blades with different hole combinations
And these orifices can be different.
All that said you can usually jet any body to work on any motor. 74-ish is usually a good place to start on a 2.0. Maybe 78-ish for a 2.4 and 80 or 82 is usually safe for WH carbs on a 2.5 in my experience. Your mileage may vary and every motor is different especially if it's modified!!!
I don't know anything about 3.0's or WMH carbs as I don't fool with those at all...

I like 22's for most applications. The old WH-7 is exactly the same as a 22 as far as I can tell except for the old round float bowls. I drill them for the enrichiner fittings and put on the late style square bowls with plastic floats. I like the XR2 WH-29's for 2.0's also.

So I'm hearing some liking the 22's and some the 46's. I have no problem with my 46's, just wondering if I would get a bigger kick on top with the 22's. If not, then I'll probably pass my 22's on to someone who needs them.

46's are a hi-po carb; came on carb bridgeports, maybe others. Too high a price tag for me. 20's and 22's came on 200 and 225 fishin' motas. Cheaper. Not many hi-po motors in my area, I use what I can get. I really like the WH-7's...

Pretty sure 46s came on sum 200 production, the hipo carbs had slosh tubes and others dont. None of mine had tubes , not 100% sure on that tho but they r in the manual for the 2.4 200

WH20 came on BP as well I though. My 2.4 200 stock came with WH46. I always though WH20 were wanted, then 46, and then 31 on desired WH series carbs.

I checked on the slosh tubes and baffle parts several years ago. At that time they were still available but cost was ridiculous for a full set...

My WH31 have the slosh tubes, but one of the carbs is missing the baffle in the bowl. no clue where that went!!

My motor is an 89 or 90, V200 fishing mota - came with the 46's. Sounds like I am just as well off with the 46's as anything.

Thanks bud. I'll check them tonight. Is that for more power or for melting down?
