mercury 300x fuel pressure port location

I've got a 2001 mercury 300x, I want to install a mechanical fuel pressure gauge on it, where would be the best place to tap into the fuel system to get the most accurate measurement???

There is a Schrader valve at the bottom of the fuel rail. Possible to use this?

Idk, on the 260's I've put a inline fitting on the fuel rail but this thing is way different, thought about somewhere in the line from the pump over to the fuel rail...any suggestions about doing that???

Vnemous told you there is a schrader valve on the bottom of the fuel rail...use it or put a tee in the supply hose from the VST to the rail....I'd use the schrader. If the motor has a newer style 300X VST (2002 and later), the schrader valve will be on the VSTon the pump discharge.
