Evinrude G2. Power head different ?
How is the new G2 power head different that the now old Etec ? Of course the trim and steering and cosmetics are different, but what real changes are there to the power head ?

I am sure they re-used as many parts as they could, but it is pretty much a complete re-design.

Very different starting with 70 degree design. Exhaust is new design also.

Also list is just about $400 more than current model. Not much increase in money for all the new technology. Rumors of 350 middle of next year.

is the right bank exhaust removable as well?
maybe the next big thing in drag engines in non etec mode

The whole design is new from the top to the skeg.
Some bearings, rods, and sensors are interchangeable with the traditional E-TEC along with the fuel filter. That is about it, everything else is new.
