I use it because I hate to have to wash off the amine blush off the cured epoxy with water and then dry, then having to sand all before starting to put more epoxy resin and glass down. Below is a link to the peel ply. It just saves me the time of prepping the cured epoxy before adding more epoxy. The epoxy saturates the peel ply and the blush comes to the top of the peel ply once cured, then you pull the peel ply off and the blush comes off with the peel ply. Just like XstreamVking states.

A PO got the dash in my Vegas too. It also has about 60 small holes from what appears to have been a bimini top and other useless rigging abortions. At least I won't have to match flake!!!

At least you've got enough meat under the cut,so the dash won't crack through to the bottom.Give it a good fitting "PLUG" with a filler like Cabosil,Problem solved!!

Some progress, got both of the frozen steering cables out and made some outside transom braces that will connect the cap stringers to the transom.

I wish more people would start using foam, to replace stringers & floors. Its easier to use, lighter, never rots, improves resale value. And no, its not weaker. All stringers & transverse stringers, floors, transoms, etc., are "all" only as strong as the glass/resin that's used along with them.

Makes sense but if the core is to be balsa which is likely to rot first, is this an issue?
