what type of paint does every body use?

hey, i am getting ready to paint my checkmate exiter and am wondering what i should use for a clear coat. i am a body guy and i paint cars for a living but this is the first boat i will be painting in its entirety. i am using ppg base ,it is going to be a pretty simple two tone paint job. my ppg rep told me any thing they offer for a clear wouldn't hold up to well. i am curious as to what other people use. tanks for the help.

Ppg concept will be fine, unless you plan on leaving it in the water.

That's what I figured. I trailer the boat. I can't imagine it would hold up to the bunks scraping the bottom too well
