    225 Promax Rev limter options.

My stock/original 1997 2.5 225 promax pulls a 32 ET with 1.75 gears hard to the limiter at 103 MPH every time out.
If I wanted more speed I'd either have to have this prop pitched up, buy a 34" cleaver or similar or raise my limiter.

Besides Brucato (which isn't in the budget right now) are there any decent ways to bring the limiter up to 7k or so?

Oil injection is removed as are the "black boxes" for idle stabilization and timing retarding both for simplicity and reliability. I didn't know you can unplug the limiter... How is that done?

You cannot unplug the limiter as its built into the ECU's program. You can send it in to the get the limiter raised. Not cheap though.

Might want to get a lightweight flywheel if you're raising the limiter.

Oh nevermind then - this thing runs to well to monkey with it. Maybe I'll just have the prop tweaked.

    thanks for the info.
