Tom,
I noticed in your build where you split the cap it looks like you removed some glass so the new glass would fit in the recessed area? If thats true, what was your method?

there was a band of glass mat on the inside where they bonded the cap to the hull. Only thing I removed was this old mat as it was don't really ****ty. Ground this area clean on both deck and hull for better bonding when I put it back together. The old mat pretty much peeled up with a pry bar and hammer.

look up CARTER POWELL's thread...he re did a STARCRAFT true tunnel...step by step with lot's of pic's...his came out great also...his was yellow with a v/6...SWEET

Magnum stickers are still available from magnum marine believe it or not. Others were found scrounging around on the internet

Great looking boat, seats are perfect. I may remove my back to back seats for something like yours. Waiting to hear what you get on the prop runs. Very clever winch stand. What stern light did you use? Nice job, enjoy. Bob
