this aint a race boat. They came from the factory with single rack ride guide. I restored the original helm and am using it. For now this will have to do .

The curvature of the dash and the very limited space under it made it near impossible just to get a single rack helm in there. I don't see any way to install a dual rack helm unless I went center steer with it.

The one I ran around in had a merc dual rack in it. The helm had a half moon wedge under on the bottom to tilt the wheel up and provide clearance under. I rigged the boat with a 1500XS for a friend of mine.

awesome thread! any pictures of the boat as a whole? I just picked up a gutted missile and am looking to restore it, but not as perfect as you! What type of paint did you use?

most all MAGNUMS had the inserts in the rear quarter panels, that looks smooth...RABCO's didn't have them...does title say MAGNUM???
