Wow you got some skill! From the start to this point its just nothing short of incredible that you even took on this project as you basicly had to rebuild a entirely new hull from crumbs and skulls!! Looks fantastic!!!! what ever that skull was you should have it painted on the hull some were. It has symbolism. Probably look cool also airbrushed? Then when someone asks what it is you can tell them the story.haha

so I test fit the deck onto the hull and positioned it exactly, made some alignment marks and measured how much space there was between the transom and the splash well.
Used a slurry of chopped strand and gooed up the transom to splash well interface real well, using alignment marks. clamped, wiped up the ooze out excess and let cure 24 hours.
Next was to fabricate some small aluminum alignment clamps as shown in the pics which drew the hull and deck to the proper alignment. Taped the seam to prevent ooze out on the outside.
Laid a 1 inch strip of glass inside on the seam, removed the clamps and went back with an additional 6 inch glass strip on the inside. Let me tell you how much I like working with wet glass in tight spaces......

Deck to hull seam finished and faired. Ready for primer. Test fit the steering helm and wheel into the dash and then placed the twin bucket seat assembly in for spacing. things fitting pretty well as planned.

I am thinking the original quad set is pretty heavy. gonna start with a side by side and am mocking up the quad base to see how it compares weight wise. running a 15 inch shaft on this means I have ZERO need for 4 seats, although that is factory correct.

Tom, I think you really wanted to be a performance boat builder, not an electrical engineer, lol. Boats coming along swimmingly.

Coming out great, Tom! Brownie came up and saw mine the other day and flipped over how original and nice it is. We have to get the 2 of them side by side for pix when you're all done- still looking for a nice tower of power for mine.

Something ready to use if possible- have so many projects right now its insane. The Missile is ready to run minus a motor change, so I don't want the TOP to be a lotta work.
