Appreciate the intrest in this thread. Been a 16 month project. If you want to see this boat come to the classic race boat association gathering in Tavares florida in november, where it will be on display. Stay tuned for the start of the next project in maybe 6 months, the Dutchmsn tunnel maybe with twin inlines, thanks again

Hello Tom: Give me a few days and I will get my wife to help me post all the pictures of my Starcraft T-170. I know it and the Duo were basically the same boat except I have seen two different sponson bottoms. LIke your project, I split the deck from the bottom and it was almost a three year job. It is a bit heavier than the original build but I built it like I thought it should have been built, not like starcraft built it. I will try to give a detailed explanation of all the things that I did when I post the pictures. It has a 1996 2.5 EFI on it and a sportmaster. I have seen a bit over 100 MPH a number of times but my testosterone is just not what it used to be. This project started in 2000 and finished in 2003 but it still looks like the day it was finished.

you sent me pic's of your build a while back...great job...when I had my MAGNUM & DUO mystery 17,wish I still had them...fun rides...post them up for shure...well worth it ..thanks
