Transducer Install Location on Stratos DC219?

I have a Lowrance Elite 4x HDI and I want to know the best place to mount the transducer. I want scan not only at idle but at speed on plane. Lowrance says the DSI will work till 20 MPH and the standard sonar up to 60 MPH. DSI will not work with shoot-thru-hull according to Lowrance which is a shame because that would've been the ultimate option in my hull.

I've added some pics with illustration so you guys can see the options my hull allows. I understand the skimmer transducer has to be in the water to send an acceptable graph. So, I could mount it in any of the 3 points and it would work at idle but the only location I can see it working at when at speed on plane is on location 3 off the bottom pad. I'm a rookie here, so....

Tell me where I'm going wrong here if I am? Bad location for interference/noise?

i would mount it where the speedometer pick up is as they are almost useless. The bracket holes on the transducer will line up perfectly with the speedometer and you wont have to drill anymore holes in your boat. Thats where i mounted mine and it works great!

Location 3 has been the best from my experience for working at high speed.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by encouraging class hatred. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.

Go thru hull, you can put it in a ziplock bag filled with water with sand to hold it down, til you find the right spot, then epoxy it
