I can't help you with that one. I'm afraid I never get electrics check right. I have spares and swap them out until its running right. Then through out the bit that failed.

    Sold the old Formula 233.

Yeah the manual shows +/- 20%. Does anyone know what the Yamaha control unit does? It's mounted right under the CDI.

Well I got the issue figured out if even only for a short while. I put 8 pedal reeds in it and it ran beautifully until one of the reeds came loose and went into the engine. Need a crankcase now. Ugh. No of any?

Oh no, that's a real shame. Are you sure its not repairable? Or do you know have a big extra hole in the case?
They pop up from time to time on ebay. Many more of them are in the US so you should be fine.
I have to wait for ages here in AU for a good one to pop up.

Oh your not in the US? Well the block itself is still good but I had a bunch of bolts break off. And the exhaust cover tuner is broke. My dumb@$$ tried taking it off with thinking about siezed bolts.

Oh it might be salvageable. I had the same issue with one of my blocks.

Get the covers off if you can, then there should be bolts still proud. I weld a nut on (use a larger nut) get plenty of heat in it and they usually come out.
    You have nothing to lose.
