The 13 spline cleaver is tentatively sold to a gentleman in NW Florida for $200 shipped. The check should be "in the mail". I will let you know if I have not received it in a week.

I may be interested in the 24" pitch unknown brand prop. I am fairly new to High Performance boating. I have a 1968 checkmate v161 with a 1980 merc v150 on it. I currently have a quicksilver 21" pitch prop but took a chunk out of it on a rock saturday. I am getting 4600 - 4800 rpms wot with the 21" prop. Would a 24" put me above the 5500 rpm engine rating?

It's the other way around, increasing pitch will decrease rpm. Pitch is how many inches the propeller moves forward in one revolution (assuming zero slip). Think of pitch as the thread on a bolt and you spin the nut one revolution. A coarser thread (higher pitch) will move the nut further on the bolt. In typical submerged propeller applications you can assume 1" of pitch will change the engine speed by about 200 rpm.
