    Prop Hubs

Does anyone know if there is a way to convert a prop with a standard rubber hub to a interchangeable hub like the new props come with?

I don't see how it could be done without fabricating and welding in a new hub on the prop to allow the plastic one to slide into. The plastic interchangeable ones are square.

Frankly I am not a fan of the Flo-Torq interchangeable hubs. I know, I know...they are meant to break and save the prop and drivetrain. But I have to pop a few Tums every time I hear the crack that the dogs make when you put the motor in gear. Rubber is way better in my opinion.

I like the BRP version of the plastic hub than the flo torque. It is a shame its not interchangeable.

    TM what you messing with?

We got some v-6's and a v-4 all OMC's just like to be able to swap props. We are running 24 thru 26 drag props on the v-6's and they make pretty good top end props for the v-4. I was just thinking that if you could make a sleeve to put in a rubber hub prop ( weld or press in) then you could run them on anything v4,v6, OMC or Merc.
